WEEKLY TREASURE HUNT
Each week we will list 'Treasure Hunt' items and for each
one you procure for the auction your class will get 2
points. The class that receives the most number of points
will win an exciting surprise! Classes also earn 1 point for
each non-treasure hunt item they procure.
THIS WEEKS ITEMS:
• Street Scene: Downtown on Burnside (Ideas - Voodoo donuts,
Powell's, Sahagun Chocolates, Everyday Music...)
• Local Culture: Japanese (Ideas - Japanese Garden Membership
Ichiban Restaurant, Portland Taiko, Moshi-Moshi Store on Burnside...)
• Local Craft: Beer (Ideas - Tour + tasting at brewery, brewery supply...)
• Children's Classes: Summer camp
• Adult's Classes: Cooking
• Portland Events: Sporting (Ideas -Trailblazers, Timbers, Winterhawks...)

Thanks Angela! I can also contact my friends at TrackersNW and see if they'd be willing to donate a space for one of their weeks of camp. Are Nicole and Ruthanne doing a 2 week summer camp? Maybe they'd be willing to donate a space for the auction??
ReplyDeleteOneof my neighbors runs Alma Chocolate on SE 28th north of burnside--opposite direction of downtown. Any ideas of what I could ask her for...besides chocolate samples? I gues we could do an eastside package--sampleof chocolate, ickets to laurel thirst theatre, dinner at the indian restaurant...not sure. This isn't my forte. Suggestions?
